I think if you visited my twitter profile and scrolled though a bit you will see how MUCH i love this stupid game. Ever since December of the '22 I semi-randomly picked up this game after watching a movie at a mall, my life was never the same.

Paper Mario: The Origami King is an action-adventure roleplay game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in July 17th 2020, for the Nintendo Switch console, and is the sixth game in the Paper Mario series. The game prioritized its new combat system where you have to rotate and slide rings in a circular battle arena and line up your enemies.
The games plot goes like this:
Theres an origami festival held at Princess Peach's castle. Mario and Luigi go there, only to find Toad Town and the castle deserted. They get in and get locked inside, and Luigi goes to find the key to the castle. Mario finds Princess Peach, who has been folded into origami, and she drops him to the dungeon. He discovers a magic circle and initiates the "1,000 Fold Arms" technique which he uses it to free Olivia, an origami girl (and the character im gonna write a 1k letter essay about her later in this page)

anyways, on their way to escape the dungeon they find Bowser who was also folded, kinda. They go to the upper terrace of the castle and they get attacked by bowser's minions who got folded and turned into Folded Soliders. After defeating them, they find Princess Peach along with a folded solider, whos reveals to be actually King Olly, Olivia's older brother. He summons five streamers around the Mushroom Kingdom to move Peach's Castle, both Olivia, Mario and Bowser escape the castle in a clown car piloted by a Shy Guy but are knocked off by the red streamer. Bowser gets saved by the shy guy while Mario and Olivia falls into a forest near the castle. They land in Whispering Woods and Olivia notices that his brother moved the castle and they set to destroy the five streamers that are wrapped around the castle. In the long journey they meet an amnesiac Bob-Omb, some stupid toad researcher and an ancient captain toad who stole a submarine. I think my hands are gonna get carpal tunnel by the time i finish typing this out so i suggest you read the plot in mariowiki.com.
The game recieved positive reception, for its story, graphics and everything but the combat system got mixed opinions, even i saw some people going as far as saying modern Paper Mario killed the series, which i dont believe in.

OLIVIA!!!!!!!!!!!!

its the Autism Queen herself, Olivia the Origami Girl. If you still dont know what Olivia looks like.. um... *points at the bottom of your screen* anyways, umm.... shes like, one of the only things keeping me alive at this point, aside from music, shmups, and everything else. I honestly dont know how to word what i feel about her as a character...... her naive, but charming personality and cute appearance....... i think im probably attached to her (not in a romantic way but as in a "shes so me fr fr" way). I know this is a shrine related to the game, but tbh i wanna make this an excuse to talk about her in a way. other fans might see her as annoying but... for me i think its unexplainable how much i like her. dunno maybe its the tism. just watch this video and youll see why i really like her. Otherwise i think she might be the best character in all of Paper Mario (actually i havent played any other games in this series other than paper mario 64 but SHUT THE FUCK UP)
